![]() ![]() Keep in mind in orde for most effects to be applied it has to get past the magic armor first (and yes, some rare spells use physical armor for save instead of magic, such as one of necros starting spells), which means you need int based dps stripping that. ![]() Magic in this game does various effects which you dont really need int for, there are a lot of spells you use because they apply effects, these effects dont care what your int is, only direct damage components. You wont be using many necromancy skills in this case however. The health heal on damage done is of course based on damage done, from any source, so a strength fighter with 3 points in necromancy can go clobber something over the head with his strength hammer, and get some health back. The spells themselves are gonna be int based, and the tooltips should say as much. I can see putting points into Warfare would compliment both damage types, but surely where attributes are concerned it should be either str, int, or finesse and then vitality or memory if needed, not a combination of str and int or fin and int. If the damage of the ability is governed by Intelligence I see very little reason to invest in two different damage attributes. Obviously the Necro abilities deal damage to Physical Armour and cause Physical effects like bleeding. I notice that in many of the hybrid classes such as Cleric and Shadowblade Necromancy is used as the default magic ability. ![]() Originally posted by Senenleigh:Without going in and testing the numbers myself, I was hoping someone could tell me if Necromancy is governed by intelligence or a different attribute. ![]()
